CapAhead is operated by HAC Labs. This policy explains how CapAhead handles information when you use the website or app.

Information you enter in the app

CapAhead is designed as a device-first personal finance app. Finance entries such as transactions, income sources, recurring expenses, savings, loans, and settings are stored on your device using browser or app storage. HAC Labs does not keep a server copy of these local finance entries.

Backups

If you choose to export a backup, you are responsible for where you save or share that file. CapAhead may provide encrypted backup tools and recovery keys so you can restore your own data later.

Deleting your data

Because your everyday CapAhead data is stored on your device, you can delete that data by clearing the app or browser data, deleting any exported backup files you control, or uninstalling the app. HAC Labs does not keep a separate server copy of your local finance entries.

Website contact

If you contact us by email, we will receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and any details included in that message.

Payments and app stores

If CapAhead offers paid features, payment processing and subscription management are handled by Google Play. Google processes payment information under its own policies and terms.

Website hosting and technical logs

The CapAhead website is hosted and protected using services such as GitHub Pages and Cloudflare. These providers may process basic technical information, such as IP address, browser or device information, request metadata, and security logs, to serve the website, prevent abuse, and keep the site available.

Cookies and analytics

CapAhead does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Children

CapAhead is not directed to children. HAC Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Because CapAhead stores finance entries on your device and HAC Labs does not keep a server copy, most app data can be controlled directly on your device. For information you send us by email, you can contact support@capahead.com to request access, correction, or deletion.

What we do not sell

We do not sell your personal finance data.

Security

No system is perfect, but CapAhead is built to limit unnecessary collection of sensitive finance data and give you control over backups.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as CapAhead develops or legal requirements change. When we make changes, we will post the updated policy here and change the updated date above.
